Ukrainian Armed Forces' successes mean that in Russia either Putin will be removed, or the state will split into pieces - ex-Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces, Romanenko
Due to Ukraine's successes at the front, the Russian leader Vladimir Putin, may be removed and replaced by democrats who will seek to preserve their country's borders. Alternatively, if this does not happen, Russia will collapse
The ex-deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, lieutenant general Ihor Romanenko, said this on Espresso.
"First of all, the outcome of the war will be decided on the battlefield, but there may be options related to the impact of the victories of the Armed Forces in the counteroffensive. At the operational level, we have success in the Kharkiv and Kherson directions. The amount of influence on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region has turned into qualitative changes. On September 29, we took the first line of defense, then their defense capabilities were very saturated," he said.
Romanenko said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine reduced the potential of this group, found gaps in the defense and continued offensive actions in certain directions.
"Under the pressure of these circumstances, it may happen that Putin will be replaced - the towers of the Kremlin are competing there. I see the development of two directions in the strategic approach. The first - it will be moved and people will come who will largely agree to Ukrainian conditions, will liberate our occupied lands and will be able preserve the framework within the borders of the Russian Federation. If these are democratic leaders, they will be able to build a real confederation within the existing borders. If this does not happen, then under the influence of our more significant victories, cascading destruction may occur in the Russian Federation, which may lead to the splitting of the state into pieces, who will try to conduct independent state activities," concluded the former deputy chief of the General Staff.
