Over 7,600 Russian troops killed and wounded near Pokrovsk last week

Major Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia operational and strategic troop grouping, told Hromadske Radio.

In addition to personnel, the Russian forces also lost in the Pokrovsk sector over the last week:

• 27 tanks
• 120 armored vehicles;
• 96 artillery pieces and mortars;
• 2 MLRS;
• 88 motor vehicles;
• 39 units of special equipment;
• 21 electronic warfare devices;
• 175 hiding places;
• 35 UAV control points.

The Defense Forces also destroyed 40 enemy ammunition depots and 12 fuel and lubricant depots.

“Losses are counted both as completely destroyed and critically damaged. In the case of personnel, these are not only the killed, but also seriously wounded who are out of service,” said Viktor Trehubov.

As of the morning of January 7, the losses of Russian troops and their mercenaries in Ukraine amounted to about 800,010. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders neutralized at least 1,970 Russian soldiers. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
