The Atesh guerrilla movement reported the information.
The movement agents have recorded an increase in the number of civilian fuel tankers cooperating with the invading Russian forces.
"In this way, the Russian Armed Forces command is trying to preserve its logistics, which have been severely damaged as a result of a series of successful strikes by Ukraine's Defense Forces, assisted by our movement," the statement says.
Atesh noted that changes in fuel storage tactics followed a statement by Russian Defense Minister Belousov, who claimed that "a tiered network of depots must replace military bases in Russia."
"In doing so, the invaders endanger the civilian population and violate the Geneva Convention," the partisans added.
- On December 15, Ukraine's Security Service, together with the Defense Forces, hit a Russian train transporting 40 tanks of fuel in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region.
