Ukraine repels all Russian attacks near Robotyne, Klishchiivka — General Staff

According to the General Staff, a total of about 56 combat clashes between Ukrainian and Russian troops took place over the past day. At the same time, the operational situation on the southern and eastern fronts remains difficult.

In the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. 

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, shell settlements from the Russian territory, and increase the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Russian troops conducted an air strike near Mykolaivka, Sumy region. About 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled over 12 attacks near Synkivka, Kyslivka, and Ivanivka, Kharkiv region, and another 7 attacks near Nadiya, Luhansk region. About 10 settlements came under Russian  artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted air strikes near 2 settlements in the Luhansk region and 2 more in the Donetsk region. About 20 settlements suffered from Russian artillery and mortar shelling.

In Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled attacks near Klishchiivka, Donetsk region. Russian troops launched an air strike near New York, Donetsk region. Over 15 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Avdiivka direction, Russian troops, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Avdiivka and another settlement in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 5 attacks there. Russian troops also launched an air strike near Stepove in the Donetsk region. Over 15 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Marinka direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations with the support of aviation near Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops repelled 17 attacks there. About 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled attacks south of Zolota Nyva and south of Prechystivka in the Donetsk region. Russia launched air strikes near Urozhayne, Staromayorske, and Rivne in the Donetsk region. About 15 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian troops repelled all attacks west of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. Over 15 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Kherson direction, Russian troops launched an air strike near Beryslav, Kherson region. About 8 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction and offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting Russian troops.

Russia attacks Ukraine with missiles, aircraft, and drones

At the beginning of the day, Russian troops launched another missile and air strike on Ukraine, using an Kh-59 guided missile, S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 6 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile and 6 Shaheds.

Russia launched 3 missile attacks, 34 air strikes, and 6MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private homes and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Russian personnel concentrations twice

During the day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 15 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment and 3 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukrainian missile troops hit 5 Russian control points, a concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition depot and an artillery vehicle.

• Earlier, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation and have partial success west of the temporarily occupied Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region.
