Took the bullet out of the heart without stopping it. Kyiv hospital surgeons performed a unique operation

It is reported that the guy survived and was able to escape from the captivity of invaders. For two days, Volodymyr walked through the forest to the location of Ukrainian servicemen.

According to doctors, he was walking with a bullet in his heart and pneumohemothorax.

The first medical assistance was provided to Volodymyr in Malyn. Subsequently, he was taken to the Zhytomyr regional hospital, where during the examinations it turned out that the soldier had a foreign object in the heart area. The young man was sent to the Center for Innovative Cardiac Surgery at the Feofaniya hospital.

In Kyiv, doctors discovered that there was a fragment in the wall of the left ventricle, one and a half millimeters from the cavity of the heart.

The operation lasted 5 hours and was successful. Doctors operated on a beating heart with the help of special stabilizers. A few hours after the operation, Volodymyr was already talking, and the next day he was walking.

Volodymyr was discharged from the hospital, but he is still in touch with his doctors.
