Russia's missile strikes do not change the situation, it is "strategic nonsense" and self-demilitarization - Zelensky
The President of Ukraine said that sanctions against the Russian Federation lead to the fact that it cannot restore weapons
Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in his evening video message.
According to the head of state, Russia should already understand that it will be extremely difficult for it to restore its missile stock even under the current sanctions.
"Without imports, they cannot even do this. And if all the loopholes that are used to circumvent sanctions are closed and even more stringent sanctions restrictions are introduced, the restoration of Russia’s missile potential will be unrealistic. Russian missile strikes lead to only one thing: namely missile self-demilitarization of the Russian Federation", Zelensky said.
A similar process is taking place with other Russian weapons, the president added.
"Developing new artillery, aircraft, new helicopters, cruisers under the sanctions will be an overwhelming task for Russia. None of the missile strikes has fundamentally changed the situation for Russia. And if we evaluate them all together, the conclusion will be this: this is strategic stupidity", summed up the head of the state.
