Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported the information.
"The occupiers of Melitopol are closely monitoring the "dissenters". First, they hung video cameras around the city, then switched to phone communications. They couldn't reconfigure the Ukrainian towers, so they set up their own. But with an asterisk: to listen to conversations," he wrote.
According to him, Russia has recently installed another tower near the hospital campus, and another one in the neighborhood opposite the 24th school.
Fedorov noted that in a year and a half, the Russian-installed authorities have not yet provided normal communication and the Internet for people.
"Enemy towers are only for enemy purposes," added the mayor of Melitopol.
- In addition, the day before, Ivan Fedorov said that Russian troops had brought another mobile crematorium to the temporarily occupied Melitopol. Local residents complain about the terrible stench.
