Russian authorities announce the annexation of the occupied territories of Ukraine
Russian authorities and their gauleiters plan to sign "agreements" on the inclusion of the occupied territories of Ukraine into the Russian Federation on September 30 at 3:00 p.m.
Dmytro Peskov, the spokesman of Russian President Vladimir Putin, stated this, TASS reports.
The signing ceremony is planned to be held in the Kremlin. Peskov also announced Putin's speech on annexation.
According to the Russian law "On the procedure of adoption in the Russian Federation", the further procedure should take place as follows: Russia should recognize the Kherson Oblast and Zaporizhzhia as "independent states" (following the example of the "DPR" and "LPR", which the Russian Federation recognized as such before the full-scale invasion). Next, Putin must sign "agreements" with them, which must be approved by the Constitutional Court and the Parliament of the Russian Federation. After that, the annexation must be approved by Putin.
Andriy Klishas, Russian Senator, said that the Federation Council will be able to consider the issue of annexation only after signing the "agreements" scheduled for October 4.
