Russia forces migrants from Central Asia to vote in ‘elections’ in occupied Ukraine
Russians are forcing migrants from Central Asia to vote in the sham ‘presidential elections’ in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories
This is reported by the Center for National Resistance.
"In the temporarily occupied territories, Russians are driving migrants from Central Asia to 'polling stations'" the Center notes.
On March 15, voting for Putin's ‘election,’ which is ignored by the vast majority of local residents, will begin in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. To increase the turnout at the polls, the Russias allowed voting without passports. Now they have tasked construction companies with sending migrants to the temporarily occupied territories to participate in the sham elections.
In particular, the Russians promise foreigners an extra day off for turning up at the polls.
The Center for National Resistance notes that Russia has been bringing migrants to the temporarily occupied territories since the end of 2022. Their number is over 100,000.
- On March 13, it was reported that voting in the sham presidential elections in occupied Ukraine was underway, with 100,000 Russians participating. They came to Ukraine to work in administrations, schools and hospitals.
