Kherson region suffers casualties after Russian drone attacks
On Wednesday, January 8, Russian forces struck settlements in the Kherson region once again. The attacks resulted in fatalities and injuries.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration (RMA).
In Beryslav, a 66-year-old man sustained injuries to his arm due to an explosive dropped from a drone. Additionally, a 69-year-old woman suffered blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to her arms, legs, head, and abdomen.
Later, the Prosecutor's Office reported that as a result of the Beryslav attack, a 52-year-old man died from injuries incompatible with life. In total, four local residents were injured.
Meanwhile, Kherson region head Oleksandr Prokudin stated that a 40-year-old man was killed in another attack, and a 43-year-old woman was injured.
According to the RMA, the injured individuals are currently in the hospital, where doctors are providing them with necessary medical care.
On the same day, around 10:00 a.m., Russian troops attacked Naddnipryanske with a drone. A Russian drone struck a minibus on a road near the settlement.
As a result of the explosion, a 70-year-old man died. Another civilian, a 57-year-old man who was in the minibus, sustained blast trauma, a concussion, multiple shrapnel wounds to his head, and an open forearm fracture. The victim was hospitalized.
