"U.S. should prioritize Russia's Arctic projects": Ukrainian official on Trump's Greenland remark
Agiya Zagrebelska, Director of Partnership Development at Ukraine's Economic Security Council, noted that Russia's Arctic projects could pose threats to U.S. national security
She shared the information on Espreso TV.
"If we talk about Greenland, the administration of Donald Trump should focus on Russia's Arctic projects, especially those where Moscow is cooperating with China. Such cooperation could create potential threats to U.S. national security," emphasized Zagrebelska.
As the Director of Partnership Development at Ukraine's Economic Security Council clarified, Russia's Arctic projects should be among the priorities for the U.S., as the development of infrastructure and military facilities in the Arctic has strategic importance.
Agiya Zagrebelska also added that Ukraine can provide useful answers to some of the issues raised by Trump during the press conference, particularly regarding Russia. This will help better understand the political and security risks arising in the context of relations between the countries.
