Russia deploys small infantry groups in forested areas of Lyman-Kupyansk, Siversk fronts — Rubizh brigade
Danylo Borysenko, head of reconnaissance for the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division of the Rubizh brigade, shared updates on the situation in the Lyman-Kupyansk and Siversk directions, where Russian forces are actively conducting assaults
He discussed this on Espreso TV.
"The Rubizh brigade's area of responsibility covers the Lyman-Kupyansk and Siversk directions. In these sectors, the enemy (Russian troops - ed.) has been carrying out assault operations over the past day. There were three attempts in the Kupyansk direction, 14 in the Lyman direction, and seven assaults in the Siversk sector, all targeting Bilohorivka. Every single assault by Russian forces was repelled," Borysenko emphasized.
He noted that Russian troops are heavily relying on aviation, deploying a large number of guided aerial bombs (KABs). Their artillery, including multiple launch rocket systems, remains highly active. Across the entire front, over 2,000 Russian FPV drones have been recorded.
"The Russians are trying to infiltrate forested areas in small infantry groups to secure positions in the gaps between our units, if they can. They are using limited equipment because such targets are the primary focus for our FPV drone pilots," Borysenko explained.
He added that in the Rubizh brigade's operational zones, including neighboring units, Russian forces have made no gains over the past day and have suffered losses. Ukrainian defenders continue to hold their positions, work actively, and deter Russian forces.
