Russia has already launched over 10 000 missiles against Ukraine
President Zelenskyy calls for strengthening Ukraine's air defense as Russia has launched more than 6,500 missiles and 3,500 attack drones since the start of the full-scale invasion
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.
"During the full-scale invasion, Russia has already launched over 6,500 missiles and more than 3,500 attack drones, including Iranian-made Shaheds, against Ukraine," the statement said.
According to him, most of them were aimed at civilian rather than military targets.
He also said that Ukraine needs to strengthen its air defense, especially as the autumn-winter period approaches.
The Ukrainian president noted that, in addition to aircraft, the country also needs to strengthen air defense, especially as winter approaches, when energy infrastructure facilities will again become priority targets for Russian missile attacks.
"We, like no one else in the world, understand what winter without electricity is like. That is why we have a set of tasks that we need to solve," the President said.

According to British intelligence, Russia's attacks on energy infrastructure are likely to continue, but Ukraine will have enough fuel reserves to last through the winter.
