Endured interrogations, threats, persecution: 17-year-old teenager returns from occupied Kherson
A 17-year-old boy, who endured interrogations, threats, and persecution for his pro-Ukrainian stance, has been returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory from the Russian-occupied Kherson region

Head of the Kherson Regional Military District Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported the information.
“Because of his pro-Ukrainian position, the young man survived interrogations, threats and persecution from the occupying Russian-installed authorities,” the statement reads.
Thanks to the presidential initiative Bring Kids Back UA and the hard work of the Ombudsperson's Office team, the teenager was returned to Ukraine.
He is now receiving psychological, financial and humanitarian support.
- Ukraine has successfully returned six children, from 9 months to 17 years old, from territories temporarily occupied by Russia.
