Putin acknowledged Russian failure during first week of mobilization - British intelligence
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin acknowledged the problems that arose in the first week following his mobilization announcement.
This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense on Twitter.
British intelligence draws attention to the fact that on September 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the National Security Council regarding the "partial mobilization", which he announced on September 21. According to him, many questions arise during this campaign, and it is necessary to quickly correct mistakes and not repeat them.
Experts believe that Putin's extremely quick recognition of the problems highlights the ineffectiveness of the mobilization during the first week. Local officials likely have no clear idea of the exact scope and legal basis of the campaign. They have almost certainly drafted individuals who do not fit the definitions stated by Putin and the Ministry of Defense.
"As conscripted reservists continue to gather in tented transit camps, Russian officials are likely trying to provide training and find officers to lead the new units," British intelligence concluded.
