Kherson mayor Kolykhayev is in Russian captivity
The Red Cross has confirmed that Russia has put Kherson mayor Ihor Kolykhayev on the list of prisoners of war
Kolikhayev's son Svyatoslav reported the information to Suspilne.

"I contacted the Red Cross and was told that the Russian side had put my father, Ihor Kolykhayev, on the list of prisoners of war and he was in Russia. They did not specify where exactly he is and his health condition. His status in the personal account of the coordination center was also updated," Svyatoslav explained.
Abduction of Ihor Kolykhayev
On April 25, Russian troops seized the building of the Kherson City Council, and on April 26, they appointed their "city authorities" there. Kolykhayev stayed in the city and worked remotely until June 28, 2022, when he was abducted.
