"It is likely that nuclear weapons may be used in the territories we are liberating" - Ukrainian Security Service Colonel Kostenko 

He expressed this opinion on the air of the Verdict with Serhii Rudenko program on Espreso TV. 

"The military leadership of the Russian Federation is thinking about the use of nuclear weapons, and now this issue is weighing on the scales. The answer will depend on where and how we attack, as well as what the consequences will be of what we liberate. The fact that they are discussing the use of nuclear weapons is a fact. Our and Western special services are talking about this," Kostenko stressed.

The Ukrainian Security Service Colonel also added that the task is to prevent a nuclear strike from Russia.

"Whether it will be on the territories that we are liberating - more likely, yes. Now few people know what decision will be made. I am sure that even Putin does not know this, but the fact that the question of a nuclear strike is on the scales is a fact," Kostenko said.
