April 17, in Sumy region, occupiers damaged or destroyed 976 civilian objects
This was announced by head of Sumy regional administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi.
According to preliminary data, about 976 objects were destroyed or damaged during the full-scale war, including:
housing - 638;
administrative buildings - 23;
educational institutions - 24;
health care facilities - 18;
life support facilities - 23;
objects of culture and sports - 5;
industrial enterprises - 21.
364 kilometers of local roads were also damaged in the region, 2 bridges were destroyed. 5 bridges on highways of national importance were destroyed. Greatest destruction was in Okhtyrka, Trostyanets, Lebedyn, Boromlyany, Velykopysarivska and Sumy territorial communities.
Zhyvytskyi noted that more than 20 billion hryvnias are needed to restore critical infrastructure, transport network, buildings and other facilities, regardless of ownership.
