Success of Ukraine's counteroffensive will mean Russia's loss in war - Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that if Russia fails to withstand Ukraine's counteroffensive, it will finally lose the war
He said this on NBC News.
“Our heroic people, our troops on the front line are facing very tough resistance. Because for Russia to lose this campaign to Ukraine, I would say, actually means losing the war,” Zelenskyy said.
He also said that the news from the front is generally positive, but the fighting is difficult. Zelenskyy added that the slow delivery of new weapons, such as fighter jets, plays into Russia's hands.
Ukraine's president also responded to former US President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who questioned the continuation of US military support for Kyiv. He warned that Ukraine's loss would mean an even greater conflict with Moscow in the future and invited the officials to visit the country.
