Russian forces burn their dead soldiers in barns – Melitopol mayor on situation in Zaporizhzhia region
Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov commented on the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region
He shared his information with the Espreso TV channel.
"Yesterday, explosions started in Vesele around 9:00 pm. Vesele is located 30 kilometers from Melitopol. It was not just a simple explosion, but a colonnade of explosions with detonation, so we can say that most likely another ammunition depot of the Russian army located in the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region was liquidated," he noted.
Fedorov emphasized that this is not the only explosion in the last few days.
"We also know that there was an explosion in Kinski Rozdory, and the situation here is interesting. Because the explosion occurred in one of the establishments controlled by traitors, where the Russian enemies were fed and where they also stored ammunition. So the explosion can be said to have eliminated both the traitors and some of the Russian occupiers, as well as their ammunition depot," he said.
The mayor noted that explosions continue almost every day in the temporarily occupied territories, it is especially loud in the frontline Tokmak and Molochansk, where Ukrainian military have the greatest success.
"And of course, we see a tendency that the enemy troops are reduced, and they do not only bring their crematoriums, but also bring their dead in Ural trucks to pig farms and then black smoke starts to come out. This means that there are not enough crematoriums, they are burning them right in the barns," Fedorov said.
- On August 30, it was reported that the occupying Russian forces brought another mobile crematorium to the temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region. Local residents complain of a terrible stench.
- On September 3, it was reported that in the village of Kinski Rozdory in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region, an explosion occurred in a café where the Russian troops were resting and storing their ammunition.
