Russian forces reach limit of offensive capabilities in Pokrovsk sector - Ukrainian military
Serviceman with the 68th Separate Ranger Brigade says that Russia lacks the forces and means to simultaneously conduct an offensive towards Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and Selydove
He shared this information on Espreso TV.
"Based on my observations and analysis, the occupying Russian army can no longer raise the level of offensive actions in the Pokrovsk direction. They have already shown all they can in that area. Now, they are concentrating their forces south of Pokrovsk, particularly in the Kurakhove direction and south of Selydove. However, the enemy continues to mount intense offensive actions within our brigade's area of responsibility,” the serviceman explained.
According to him, while Russian forces are attempting to maintain the intensity of hostilities in the Pokrovsk sector, they cannot launch attacks in three directions at once.
"Russian troops cannot attack with equal intensity in the center of the Ocheretyne salient from both the left and right flanks. They do not have the forces or resources to simultaneously attack Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and Selydove, as well as to the south towards Hirnyk and Ukrainsk. They simply cannot do this all at once,” he emphasized.
- On September 19, there were 226 combat clashes at the Russian-Ukrainian front. Russian forces launched the most attacks in the Kurakhove direction, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 63 of these assaults.
