He stated this during a briefing with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Kyiv on September 20, as reported by Espreso correspondent Kateryna Halko.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the Peace Formula is the only viable path to achieving a just and lasting peace.
"We must strengthen Ukraine as much as possible to host the second Peace Summit this year - a summit that can put a period on the Russia-Ukraine war. It should be a definitive period, not an ellipsis,” the president noted.
He added: “Peace is not about freezing the war or manipulating international law and morality. Peace must be reliable."
- President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Russia will be invited to the second Peace Summit scheduled for November. He also revealed plans to meet with U.S. President Joe Biden in September to discuss a strategy for Ukraine's victory.
