Russia aims for "almost round-the-clock" attacks on Ukraine in the future — Ukrainian official
The Russian army plans to conduct round-the-clock attacks on various regions of Ukraine in the future, aiming to make air alerts a regular occurrence for Ukrainians
This was reported by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.
“The increase in the production of cans also has a specific goal—they aim to achieve near round-the-clock attacks in the future, making air raids a commonplace occurrence in the regions,” the statement said.
Instead, Kovalenko believes that “this game” can be played by two sides. He argues that Russian air defense is localized and unable to provide comprehensive coverage against UAVs in all regions.
“An increase in the intensity of attacks will generally lead to more regular failures of Russian air defense, following the example of Toropets,” the executive suggested.
