Russia takes 450 more Ukrainian children to its territory
The occupation authorities of the Russian Federation are engaged in mass indoctrination and deportation of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, another 450 children were sent to so-called health camps
This was reported by the National Resistance Center.
Recently, the occupation authorities have taken 50 high school students to Yaroslavl, where they are being agitated to enter the local Demidov University.
In addition, the Russian Federation organizes trips to children's camps for "rehabilitation" in Russian resort towns. In particular, 200 children from the city of Dovzhansk, Luhansk region, were sent to Anapa, 150 children from Kakhovka and Henichesk districts of Kherson region and 50 children from the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region were sent to Krasnodar region.
In the camps, children are shown concerts by "Russian stars" and receive pseudo-patriotic education, where local teachers try to convince them of the superiority of Russian culture and history.
It is reported that children are often not returned to Ukraine, but left in Russia under the pretext of providing education or employment. Such actions by the occupiers are a violation of human rights and international humanitarian law, as well as an attempt by the occupiers to destroy Ukrainian national consciousness and identity.
According to official data from the Ukrainian authorities as of July 31, 2023, 19,546 children have been deported from Ukraine to Russia since February 24, 2022. These are only those cases that were officially recorded, when a parent, guardian, or witness of a child's deportation reported it to the National Information Bureau of Ukraine.
