Russia receives new batch of Shahed drones – Humeniuk, OC South
Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk says that invading Russian forces have attacked the Odesa region with Iranian drones from a new batch
She said this on Espreso TV.
"Russians do not choose the dates of attacks by chance, they plan these operations. And the planning is based on the available forces and means. We saw that before the attacks in the Odesa region, there was an increase in air cargo transportation from Tehran to Moscow, which may indicate the arrival of an additional batch of Shaheds," emphasized Humeniuk.
According to the 1st rank captain, the enemy is trying to destroy Ukraine's civilian infrastructure using a cheaper method.
"We saw on the wreckage of the downed drones that this is indeed the next batch, which is marked differently. It is obvious that the Russians are saving missiles. Because this stockpile is not easy to replenish and much more expensive. The enemy is trying to destroy civilian infrastructure using a cheaper method," emphasized Humeniuk.
