Russia attacks Zaporizhzhia damaging 4 high-rise buildings
Russia launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia on the night of August 22, causing damage to 4 tall buildings due to the explosion's impact
Yuriy Malashko, the leader of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, shared this information.
He explained that during the night, there were two missile strikes on the outskirts of the regional center, and three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeted open areas. Experts are currently working to manage the aftermath of this attack.
Anatoliy Kurtiev, the secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, previously stated:
"Last night, the enemy once again attacked Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the explosion's impact, 4 tall buildings were damaged."
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
All relevant services are already in operation. A temporary city council facility has been set up on the scene. Presently, utility workers have initiated the process of covering broken windows. Concurrently, they are documenting the number of windows that have been damaged.
During the night, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces issued warnings about potential drone attacks in Zaporizhzhia. And by 01:03, Suspilne correspondents had reported explosions in Zaporizhzhia.
