Zelensky invited Estonian specialists to join the work of a joint group that will investigate war crimes of the Russian army in Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in his appeal to the people and the Parliament of Estonia, called on their state and specialists to join the work of a joint group created to investigate war crimes of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine
He said this during his appeal.
"I invite your state, your specialists to join the work of the joint group, which was created to investigate the war crimes of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine. Technical and expert support is indispensable now, when the number of war crimes reaches tens of thousands. These are executions of civilians, torture, rape, blowing up hospitals, bombing maternity hospitals, burning food warehouses, shelling shelters in which children hide... There is no such crime that Russian soldiers would not have committed during the 49 days of this invasion. We will definitely investigate all these war crimes and identify all those responsible and no matter how long it takes us to find them. If we do this together with you and other European states, we can do it much faster. We can hold the new generation of Russian executers accountable", Zelensky said.
