Politician told about it on Espresso.TV.

« When the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development announced two weeks ago that Ukrainian economy would fall by 20%, I think they were, put it mildly, wrong. Today, the World Bank has said 45%. My assessment: everything will depend on developments at the front Compared to 2014, when I headed government, I can already see a halving of GDP today, not to mention incredibly large state budget deficit, which will have to be covered solely by borrowing or infusing from a fund specially created by our Western partners. ", - said Yatsenyuk.

Ex-prime minister stressed that hundreds of billions of dollars are already needed to restore roads, networks, houses, hospitals,  social sphere, industry ect.

“ Without G7 we won’t manage: we need weapons, tough sanctions against Russia, Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Ukraine. After all, there is another striking figure. And today we have about 11 million Ukrainians displaced - temporarily displaced and those who went abroad. Imagine that twice as many Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes because of this Nazi Putin than during World War II. ", - said Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
