They brought more than 100 of their dead to Tokmak — Ukrainian military describes Russian losses in Zaporizhzhia direction
Chief Sergeant of the 47th Magura Brigade Valeriy Markus has informed on Russia’s losses in the Zaporizhzhia direction. In particular, Ukrainian fighters have destroyed 15 tanks and 2 Solntsepek systems in the last few days
Markus shared the information in a video message.
"Yesterday alone, they brought over a hundred of their dead to Tokmak from this direction (Zaporizhzhia direction - ed.). Over the last few days we have destroyed a dozen tanks, two Sontsepeks (Russian TOS-1A Sontsepek - ed.)," said the chief sergeant of the 47th Brigade.
The military further reported that the Magura destroyed a significant number of Russian infantry fighting vehicles, wheeled vehicles, and armored vehicles to the extent that it is impossible to determine the exact count.
"We are on the offensive, they are on the defense, and they are suffering losses many times greater than ours. No one is cowardly, the men of the 47th Magura Brigade are fighting like lions. I have never seen such courageous and decent people in my life. It's hard for people, but they are gnawing away meter by meter," Markus summarized.
The brigade's chief sergeant called for words of support for the military, as warm words from Ukrainians are the most important thing to keep their morale up.
At the same time, Marcus emphasized that he is participating in the fighting alongside the soldiers.
"As a representative of the brigade command, I go on assaults with the men every day, not in command vehicles, but directly in vehicles with infantry and assault with them, I am on foot next to them. The command of the 47th Brigade is next to its men," emphasized the 47th Brigade's chief sergeant.
