Ukraine reports 166 combat clashes today, Pokrovsk sector sees heaviest fighting

Ukraine’s General Staff reported the information.

Russian forces continue to attack Ukraine's border settlements, targeting Oleksandrivka, Stara Huta, and Esman in the Sumy region, Lemishchyne and Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv region, and Leonivka in the Chernihiv region.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv sector, near Vovchansk and Starytsia, Russian forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses five times today.

In the Kupyansk sector, there were eight Russian assaults near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove, and Lozova. One attack has been repelled, while seven are still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops launched 32 attacks near Tverdokhlibove, Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Pershotravneve, Makiivka, Terny, and Zarichne. Nine of these assaults remain unfinished.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 22 attacks near Bila Hora, Predtechyne, Chasiv Yar, and Stupochky. Nine assaults are ongoing.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attacked four times near Toretsk, with two more clashes still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, there have been 49 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Novopoltavka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Novyi Trud, Zvirove, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novooleksandrivka, Novovasylivka, Novoandriivka, Novoielyzavetivka, Andriivka, Kurakhove, and Yantarne. Ukrainian forces repelled 30 attacks, while 19 clashes continue.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian troops launched 11 attacks near Kostiantynopil, Zelenivka, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka, and Neskuchne. Three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russian army launched an airstrike with unguided missiles near Piatykhatky.

No active operations have been reported in the Huliaipole and Prydniprovskyi sectors today.

In the Kursk region operational area, Ukrainian forces repelled 10 Russian attacks today, with eight more still underway. The Russian army launched over 160 attacks, including 14 using multiple launch rocket systems.

The situation remains largely unchanged in other frontline areas.

• The occupying Russian army lost 1,830 servicemen over the day of the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed 32 armored vehicles, 3 air defense systems, and several other pieces of Russian equipment and weaponry.
