The occupying Russian army lost 1,830 servicemen over the day of the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed 32 armored vehicles, 3 air defense systems, and several other pieces of Russian equipment and weaponry

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to January 10, 2025, are approximately:
- personnel - about 804,930 (+1,830),
- tanks - 9,741 (+10),
- armored fighting vehicles - 20,253 (+32),
- artillery systems - 21,789 (+24),
- MLRS - 1,260 (+0),
- air defense systems - 1,041 (+3),
- aircraft - 369 (+0),
- helicopters - 331 (+0),
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 21,884 (+71),
- cruise missiles - 3,017 (+3),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0),
- submarines - 1 (+0),
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 33,473 (+86),
- special equipment - 3,689 (+3).
