There are almost no intact TPPs and HPPs left in Ukraine
Ukraine suffered 6 massive attacks on energy system, as a result of which there were almost no TPPs, HPPs and nodal substations left intact
Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, chairman of board of Ukrenergo National Power Company, said this during briefing for Media Center Ukraine.
He noted that largest attack on Ukrainian energy system took place last week, almost hundred missiles were fired, as a result of which 15 Ukrenergo facilities were damaged.
"Their target was precisely power system facilities: mainly Ukrenergo substations, as well as Ukrainian power plants. 15 Ukrenergo facilities were damaged that day. After this attack, we have virtually no thermal and hydropower plants left intact in Ukraine. For you to understand the scale of these attacks and what we have to work with: almost all thermal and hydro generations, if we are talking about large power plants, were hit by Russian missiles", Kudrytskyi said.
He also noted that there are almost no undamaged nodal substations of Ukrenergo. According to Kudrytskyi, every important substation of Ukraine was destroyed.
"Something has already flown to every important substation - to some substations several times: three, five and even eight times, there are also such objects. Scale of destruction is colossal", he said.
