Russia loses 1,460 soldiers, 6 tanks, 26 artillery systems in one day of war in Ukraine

This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff. 

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to November 1, 2024, are approximately:

• personnel - about 696,410 (+1,460) 
• tanks - 9,162 (+6) 
• armored fighting vehicles - 18,470 (+20) 
• artillery systems - 20,039 (+26) 
• MLRS - 1,244 (+1) 
• air defense systems - 994 (+0) 
• aircraft - 369 (+0) 
• helicopters - 329 (+0) 
• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 18,088 (+25),
• cruise missiles - 2,628 (+1),
• ships/boats - 28 (+0) 
• submarines - 1 (+0) 
• vehicles and fuel tanks - 28,038 (+77) 
• special equipment - 3,579 (+9).

The General Staff added that the data is being clarified. 

• Anastasia Bobovnikova, spokesperson for the Luhansk Operational and Tactical Group, said that Russian forces lose about 200 servicemen killed and wounded daily in the Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Siversk sectors.
