Russian marines in Sevastopol paying off to avoid being sent to Kursk region
The soldiers of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation stationed in Sevastopol are paying bribes to avoid being sent to the Kursk region
This was reported by the Atesh resistance movement.
The permanent deployment of the 810th Russian Marine Brigade in Sevastopol is facing staffing problems due to the deployment of most of its personnel to the Kursk region.
‘The unit receives reports almost daily about new servicemen who died in Kursk region. The brigade command is trying to conceal the facts of the deaths, but, as expected, it is failing,’ Atesh said.
The Russian marines are in a low moral state due to the constant deaths of their comrades and are trying to stay in the temporarily occupied Crimea by all means.
‘Because of this, a number of commanders are demanding bribes from their subordinates to grant a delay and avoid being sent to the war zone. Those who paid off the bribe and managed to stay at the base are pretending to work: they are installing camouflage barriers, moving equipment from place to place and are very much afraid of surprises from the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which will certainly come in the near future!’, Atesh movement writes.
- On October 31, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that, according to the latest data, up to 8,000 troops from North Korea had been deployed to the Kursk region of Russia.
