Support for military aid to Ukraine declines in Poland
A recent survey shows a rise in Poles opposing military aid to Ukraine, increasing from 26% to 35%, while support has dropped to 49%
These findings come from a study conducted by the ARC Rynek i Opinia sociological laboratory, commissioned by the Mieroszewski Center, and published by Evropean Pravda.
The Mieroszewski Center has described the increase in opposition to military aid for Ukraine as a cause for concern.
Over the past year, the percentage of Poles opposing military assistance to Ukraine has risen from 26% to 35%.
At the same time, the share of those supporting military aid has decreased by 5 percentage points over the year, dropping to 49%.
As a result, less than half of Poles currently support providing military aid to Ukraine.
According to another survey, half of Poles believe that Ukraine cannot join NATO or the European Union without resolving the controversial issue of exhumations related to the Volyn tragedy.
Meanwhile, most Czech citizens reportedly show little interest in the situation in Ukraine, with nearly 60% disapproving of their government's support for Ukraine in its defense against Russia's full-scale aggression.
