Hackers attack Russian TV channels, call on military to surrender
Unknown hackers have attacked Russian TV channels and aired videos about the war in Ukraine
The I Want to Live project reported the information.
Cyber specialists managed to gain control over the broadcasting of several TV channels. In particular, as a result of the attack, hackers were able to gain access to the broadcast of Pervouralsk TV.
"Russian viewers were forced to break away from consuming Kremlin propaganda and instead watched a video that objectively depicts the realities of the war in Ukraine. The video showed, in particular, a cutaway of the deaths of Russian soldiers due to the hit of FPV drones, as well as suicides on the battlefield," the statement says.
In another video, Russian troops were called to surrender with the help of the Ukrainian government's program I Want to Live. The video was broadcast for at least 40 minutes.
