Massive Russian attack on January 2: 2 people die of injuries in Kharkiv, Kyiv hospitals
On Monday, January 8, two more people who were injured during the massive Russian attack on January 2 died in Kharkiv and Kyiv hospitals
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
"Unfortunately, one of the wounded in the attack on Kharkiv on January 2, a 56-year-old man, died in the hospital at night," the statement reads.
The man was admitted to the hospital in serious condition with multiple shrapnel wounds and underwent immediate surgery.
The death toll from the January 2 strikes in Kharkiv has risen to three, with 61 people injured.
In addition, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that one victim of the January 2 missile attack on the capital died in hospital. He noted that this is the third victim in a house in the Solomyanskyi district that suffered from the Russian attack.
Klitschko added that as of January 8, 22 people out of those who were hospitalized on December 29 and January 2 were in Kyiv hospitals. One of them is in serious condition.

On the morning of January 2, Russian troops attacked Ukraine from strategic aviation. A series of explosions occurred in Kyiv and Kharkiv. The attack resulted in casualties and injuries among the people, and houses were also destroyed.
