Eight injured in Russian drone attack on central market in Ukraine’s Nikopol
On Thursday, December 26, the Russian army attacked the central market in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, with a drone, leaving 8 people injured
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, and the State Emergency Service reported the information.
Russia struck the central market with a "kamikaze" drone.
As a result of the attack, 6 people were injured, including 4 women and 2 men, all of whom were hospitalized. The women, aged 39, 63, and 64, are in serious condition, while the others are in moderate condition.
As of 11:50 a.m., Lysak reported 8 injured: 7 of them were hospitalized. One woman is in critical condition, three others are in serious condition.
“Russians hit the market with a kamikaze drone. There are damaged stalls,” he wrote.
"Significant damage was caused to the trading premises. Rescuers, together with emergency medical teams, promptly provided first aid to the injured and transported them to the hospital," the State Emergency Service stated.
