Ukraine's military intelligence and the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council have launched a new "Kremlin Mouthpieces" section on the War & Sanctions portal, listing Russian propagandists and media managers

This was reported by Ukraine's intelligence (HUR).

"Weaponized information is a key part of Russian military strategy. Today, the Kremlin fights not only with missiles, tanks, and guns. Its information war has no clear front line and spreads across the globe," the post states.

Russia has reportedly allocated $1.42 billion in its 2025 budget for propaganda efforts. Annually, about half a billion dollars is spent on producing propaganda through non-state-affiliated organizations.

Russian propaganda is reported to support violence, glorify the Russian military, justify aggression and war crimes, and fuel hatred and dehumanization of Ukraine.

"It has faces the world must recognize – to block, sanction, ban, close bank accounts, and stop all cooperation," the intelligence agency added.

The initial list, which will be updated, includes 55 names. Among them are Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Tabak, Kristina Potupchik, Sergey Pegov, Aleksandr Dugin, Mikhail Galustyan, and Aleksandr Marshal.

  • Marina Kaljurand, a member of the European Parliament from Estonia and former Minister of Foreign Affairs (2015-2016), emphasized that countering Russian propaganda requires teaching young people how to critically analyze information.
