In Russia's war with Ukraine, the Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate plays not the least role. From the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion, it established itself as a powerful propaganda organization

From the first days of the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate established itself as a powerful propaganda organization. Priests bless Russian soldiers for the war in Ukraine, teach them how to load weapons, as well as tell believers horror stories about the European Union and the United States.
“What we see now is primarily a spiritual war. I would like to teach you how to properly load cartridges so that they hit the target. So, when you pick the bullet say the following words: “Holy Mother of God, save us”” Russian priest says in the video.
For many years the Russian Church in Ukraine has been preparing a powerful agent network from its priests. Many high ranking officials are members of the Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. Therefore, there is still no political decision to ban the activities of the Moscow Church in Ukraine. Although such a draft was registered in the Verkhovna Rada in the spring, several local councils have already made such decisions.
