“The Russian occupiers are blowing up all logistical routes behind them, trying to retreat. These are bridges, crossings and roads. In this way, they are trying to slow down the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive,” Holovnia emphasized.

Kherson's mayoral adviser added that the Russian troops are trying to cause maximum damage to the city's infrastructure.

“As for the city of Kherson itself, there is verified information that the Russian occupiers blew up the TV tower, which fell into the park. We hope that none of the civilians were harmed by such actions of the Russians. There is also information that the occupiers blew up a number of electric poles and power lines in the city.
