Russians redeploy assault units from training bases to Kurakhove, Pokrovsk directions
Petro Andriushchenko, the head of Ukraine’s Center for Occupation Studies, has stated that from 5,000 to 10,000 Russian troops are being deployed to the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions
He shared this on Espreso TV.
"Occupation forces have completed their preparations. They are now gathering their units and moving them. The main focus is on areas near Vremivka and Kurakhove. This is a priority for the Storm V units that were trained in the Mariupol and Berdiansk areas," Andriushchenko emphasized.
He also noted that the Russians have started moving additional units to strengthen their offensive on Pokrovsk. The total number of troops being deployed, including those being trained, is between 5,000 and 10,000.
Andriushchenko added that сontracted troops from Russia would also arrive to reinforce these areas.
“We should have a clearer picture of the total number of reinforcements and reserves the Russians plan to send by the middle of next week," Andriushchenko concluded.
