2025 could accelerate Ukraine's victory — Ukrainian diplomat
Diplomat and former Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Roman Bezsmertnyi believes although 2025 will be a year of continued war, it could accelerate Ukraine's victory
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"2025 will be a year of continued war, but there is a chance it could accelerate victory. This chance will depend on the actions of certain contemporary leaders representing states. A lot will depend on how successfully we can unite what could be called a coalition of freedom and democracy," emphasized Bezsmertnyi.
According to the diplomat, one of the decisive factors will be Europe's and the U.S.'s ability to find common ground, particularly within NATO. At the same time, the interaction between Ukraine and Europe with the new U.S. administration will play an important role.
"For the U.S., 2025 will be a time for a rational redistribution of resources between several strategic regions – Europe, the Indo-Pacific, and the Middle East. To do this, doctrinal approaches must be developed as quickly as possible. How quickly and clearly the world responds to these challenges will determine its ability to effectively resist the enemy and defeat it in 2025," added Bezsmertnyi
