Russian missile attack on Ukraine kills one, sparks fires across multiple regions
This was reported by Artur Dobroserdov, the commissioner for missing persons under special circumstances, as stated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.
"Currently, the search is ongoing for 62,948 people. We do not separate this number into military and civilian categories—it includes both. At the same time, the location and identification of the bodies of 10,291 people have been established," he said.
Dobroserdov mentioned that the Register of Missing Persons mainly includes those who disappeared due to the war or occupation. However, the Register also collects data on people missing as a result of emergencies or natural and man-made disasters.
