Russian overnight attack on Ukraine: UAV debris hits Kyiv high-rise, fires in Cherkasy
On the evening of February 3, Russia launched attack drones on Ukraine. Debris hit an unfinished high-rise in Kyiv, and three enterprises burned in Cherkasy region

At 1:15 a.m., the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that Russian drones were spotted in the region.
“Air defense forces are working on targets. Stay in shelters until the end of the air raid. Take care of your own safety,” the statement said.
At 5:08 a.m., the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, informed that air defense was operating in Kyiv.
In the morning, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that in the Pechersk district of the capital, UAV wreckage was found on several floors of an 18-story unfinished building.
“There were no damages or injuries. There was no fire,” he said in a statement.
According to him, 1 window was damaged in the outpatient clinic of the Pechersk district, next to the unfinished building where the debris fell.
Aftermath in Cherkasy region
Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, wrote on Telegram about the “extremely difficult” night for the region.
According to him, fires broke out in Cherkasy as a result of Russian attacks on the territory of three private enterprises. In one case, as of 8 a.m., the firefighting was still ongoing.
Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties.
