Ukraine Defense Contact Group to convene in Ramstein on January 9

Suspilne, Radio Svoboda, and Ukrinform reported the information, citing the U.S. Air Force.

The meeting will take place at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany, chaired by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

"This will be the 25th meeting of the Contact Group. Secretary Austin has once again invited defense ministers and senior military officials from around the world to discuss support for Ukraine," the press release reads.

• In December, Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced that the next meeting in the Ramstein format would take place in January.
