Russia may launch massive missile attacks on Ukraine’s Independence Day
Ukrainian intelligence warns of a possible massive missile attack on Ukraine's Independence Day, which is celebrated on August 24
Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, reported the information.
"Of course, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, aggressive Russia may resort to another act of missile terrorism. It may happen a day earlier or later. Or it could last for several days and come in several waves. Actually, I don't think it would surprise any Ukrainian," he said.
He suggests that people should remain in shelters during air raids for their safety. At the same time, it's the occupying Russian forces who should feel fear, not the Ukrainians.
"It is not Ukrainian cities, but Russia that should be worried on the eve of our Independence Day, as well as on any other day, because as long as the occupying Russian forces are on our land, Muscovy will not see or live a peaceful life," Skibitskyi emphasized.
