Peskov comments on possibility of Putin visiting Russian-occupied eastern Ukraine
The Russian leader's spokesperson Dmitri Peskov said that Vladimir Putin will visit occupied eastern Ukraine "when the time comes."

Peskov said this in an interview with the propaganda publication "Izvestia".
"Regarding the president's trip, I have no doubt that when the time comes, such a trip will take place," Peskov said, adding that Russia has "big plans" for the development of Donbass.
Peskov also cynically stated that in the territories occupied by Russia, "construction is underway, and new facilities are being introduced, energetic measures are being taken to restore all life support systems, including water pipes, energy supply, and social facilities."
