Russia maintains pressure in Kupyansk sector while protecting equipment – 14th Mechanized Brigade
Nadiia Zamryha, head of public relations for the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade, comments on the situation in the Kupyansk direction
She shared the information on Espreso TV.
“The past 10 days to two weeks have been quite active. The Russian forces have increased their attempts to carry out assault operations, resulting in greater losses, primarily in personnel. Recently, they’ve been using less equipment, both armored and automotive. Even in their rear, they’ve reduced its use, and there are certain reasons for this. Before this more active period, we managed to destroy a lot of equipment: heavy armored vehicles, automotive vehicles, including those transporting ammunition. A significant number of field ammo depots and fuel storage facilities were also destroyed,” she said.
According to Nadiia Zamryha, Russian troops have become more cautious in using equipment and are deploying manpower in small groups.
"They seem to have taken a more cautious approach and are using less equipment. However, manpower continues to advance in groups of 2-3 people in various directions, trying to move forward both during the day and at night, searching for weak spots. In response, our aerial reconnaissance is working excellently, and all of this is being eliminated," added the head of the brigade's public relations service.
