Medvedev claims that in Kyiv "people always thought and spoke in Russian"
Russia's ex-president, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev considers it necessary to "return" Kyiv
He stated this on Sunday, November 20, on Telegram.
According to his own words, Medvedev made his statement in response to promises of Ukrainian authorities to return temporarily occupied Crimea.
"To make everything clear, what and how should be returned", he emphasized.
According to Dmitriy Medvedev, "Kyiv is just Russian city where Russian language has always been thought and spoken".
According to Russian ex-president, there are allegedly following "indisputable facts" in favor of such a statement:
"1. Kyiv is the capital of Ancient Kyiv-Rus'.
2. Kyiv is large Russian city within Russian Empire.
3. Kyiv is republican capital within USSR."
